US WW2 Airborne garrison cap complete with the late war cap badge as worn by Paratroopers and Glider troops.
This is the O.D. (brown) overseas side cap which was worn and issued in Europe during World War Two by all US troops, each branch of service had a different colour braid on the cap. The Airborne was part of the Infantry so wore the Blue Infantry hat cord braid with the Airborne cap badge.
